Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician, and a founding member of the heavy metal group Motley Crue. In addition to being the band's long-term drummer, Lee created the rap-metal band Methods of Mayhem and has pursued solo musical projects. Lee believes in PETA and animal rights. Lee wrote Terry Prather in protest of Tilikum's treatment in the year 2010. Lee thought the animal should be released. He also stated that SeaWorld could not be a good partner as Tilikum is their main source of sperm. Lee expressed his disgust at SeaWorld's sloppy and bizarre ways to obtain Tilikum fertilm. Lee stated that he was hoping to prevent any further tragedies involving trainers being killed, as these tragic events were a result of the whales' fear of captiveization.
